I am contacting you to apply for a production position with Daimler- Chrysler. I have eight years of valuable production experience. My husband, Adam Struck, is a current DaimlerChrysler employee at Warren Assembly. He suggested I send my resume for consideration.
My first production position was with Plastics Research in its Brighton, Michigan, plant. I learned a lot about assembling parts and operating machinery. Since 1998 I have held a seasonal position with Conrad Foods on a packaging line. To say that I'm a hard worker is an understatement. For example, my first summer on the job I packed an average of 3,000-4,000 jars a day (the standard is about 1,200 jars/day). Because of my performance, the next year I was promoted to Crew Leader, the only seasonal employee to hold that position. I get along well with my coworkers and am constantly on the lookout for ways to improve my performance.
I really enjoy the fast-paced production environment, and it would be great to work for DaimlerChrysler. Once you've read my material, I hope you will forward my resume to the specific units that need production workers. I am available anytime for an interview. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
John Michel
