Dear Mr. Harrison,

After serving the Family Community Center for more than 17 years, I have had the opportunity to grow in my profession as an office assistant while helping others in time of need. It gives me pleasure to know I am able to provide much-needed assistance to individuals who turn to our center for support.

My experience has allowed me to work with a large number of adults and children from different ethnic backgrounds, providing assistance to individuals assigned to community service, as well as the elderly. I speak and read Spanish fluently, which is a must because our center serves a great number of Hispanics in the local area.

At this time, I feel my experience and commitment to the Family Community Center has positioned me to take on increased responsibilities. My objective is to secure the Direct Assistance Coordinator position upon its availability, and I welcome the opportunity to discuss my qualifications further. I have enclosed my resume to give you a brief review of my background and experience.

I will follow up with you next week to answer any questions you may have regarding my application. If you would like to speak sooner, please contact me anytime. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Regards,

Mathew Morris
