Dear Mr. Jones:
Once in a while, someone wakes up to find himself living in the wrong life. As a forensic biomechanics assistant and a personal trainer, I have extensive experience in dealing with people, difficult or otherwise, as well as in research and data collection. These are skills that would be easily transferable to the loan industry since I would also have to deal with people and data, albeit in a different environment.
My current goal is to explore new career options that fit better with my personality. I like numbers, but would rather deal with them in a financial environment.
In your ad under qualifications, it states "No experience necessary." As my resume indicates, I am a quick learner and problem solver while dealing with new concepts, systems, and procedures; therefore, a good fit exists between your requirements and my abilities. I do have a bachelor's degree, although not in the discipline you prefer. Again, this should not be an obstacle as I have a strong desire to learn and to succeed.
I will call you on Thursday to set up an appointment and further explore the possibilities of our working together.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Marry Lawrence
