To Whom It May Concern:
I was introduced to your company by subcontractor John Peterson, who was contracted to do work at the Ellensburg, Washington, wind farm project. I assisted him in standing three met towers and reinforcing existing shoring on the remaining towers. This is where I met Ken Roberts, Mike Henly, and other employees of XYZ. After further observation of XYZ through our correspondence and the Internet, I was very intrigued by the work XYZ does and the direction the company is headed toward providing an environmentally clean power solution. I wish to express my interest in obtaining full-time employment with XYZ.
As you can see by my résumé, I would bring a diverse knowledge of the tools and equipment necessary to perform the job. With my strong customer service skills, sales background, and attention to detail, I can be counted on to produce the high-quality work the job demands. My previous work history has taught me the importance of adhering to deadlines and financial guidelines set by the company. I have experienced, firsthand, the inner workings of enXco and found the work to be physically challenging and personally satisfying. I feel that my work history has prepared me for the professionalism and hard work ethic your company requires.
I look forward to the possibility of working with XYZ. I would like to express my willingness to work flexible hours and travel for projects as needed. I thank you for your time and consideration in this matter and will be in contact with your office to set up a meeting at a convenient time.
Sincerely,
Kenly Peterson
